Plain-language notice

Mandir submission privacy

This notice explains how information and optional photographs sent through Suggest a Mandir are handled.

Information collected

The form may collect Mandir identity, location, visitor information, source links, optional photographs, your name, your relationship to the Mandir, and the email address or WhatsApp/contact number you choose to provide. Security records include a one-way privacy-safe hash derived from the connection address; the raw IP address is not stored by this submission system.

Why it is collected

Divine Mandir uses the information to assess a proposed listing or correction, review sources, contact you when clarification is needed, prevent form abuse, and keep a record of review decisions.

Manual review and publication

Submissions and photographs are reviewed manually and never publish themselves. Divine Mandir may edit, omit or reject submitted facts and photographs. Providing information or a photograph does not guarantee publication.

Your contact details

Submitter contact details are used for review and are not displayed as part of a public Mandir listing.

Optional photographs and rights

Photographs are optional and are stored in private server storage rather than a public website folder. Images may be resized and re-encoded, which removes metadata such as embedded location details. Only submit photographs you took yourself or have permission to share. Photo metadata and submitter identity are not published automatically.

Retention and requests

Submission records and photographs are retained only as needed for review, abuse prevention and reasonable recordkeeping. This notice does not promise a fixed retention period where operational or recordkeeping needs differ. To request correction or removal, emailsubmissions@divinemandir.com and include the submission reference when available.
